ESOL Student Zhen Yi Lin's Illustration Selected for MCC's 2021 Holiday Card
MCC ESOL Student student Zhen Yi Lin created the winning illustration that adorns MCC’s 2021 holiday card. In addition to ESOL, Zhen Yi is studying commercial art and illustration.
Inspired by Professor Jim Downer (School of Arts & Humanities/Visual and Performing Arts), Zhen Yi and her classmates developed visual solutions that reflected “Inspiring the Way Forward with Focus on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.” MCC President Dr. DeAnna Burt-Nanna and members of the President’s Cabinet selected Zhen Yi’s creation as the top visual solution for this year’s holiday card. A digital version of the card was emailed to all members of the MCC community on December 14, 2021.
